Ravelry. OMG. Crazy, amazing!!! You can just click for hours, and never get bored. I love, love, love the part where you can look up a pattern and see everyone else’s version of it, complete with all the details of knitting it. And it’s very intuitive to use. It only took a moment to get my bearings and enter my very first project. There are interesting forums, groups, and every kind of knitter you can think of. I imagine I’ll settle down a bit after I’ve been on it…just one day, and I’ve got knitting projects planned for the next seventy years.

I read a great forum thread that included info on Combination knitting and now I’m very interested to learn it. The post was actually about getting faster with your knitting.

Wondering how that all turned out?

Doing fun stuff with my hair was one of the things I promised I’d do when I reached my goal weight. Since I’m within 2 lbs, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to get started. Plus it’ll be fun for the trip to California next week!
